i'm a visual artist that lives in jellyfish land~ i cannot stop tweaking what already is curious. this is due to my obsessions with visual arts, fantasy, my imagination, and alternative popular culture.
i have an alarming number of intense, creative ideas/pulls that i slowly accomplish everyday.
i like retro and feminine. my brain is a carbonated mix of 60s/70s kitsch and opulent 1750s france. of kawaii japan and 1980s/1990s kiddie american pop culture.
i'm super quiet and reserved unless we're close, then i sometimes talk too much. i'm a graphic artist specializing in social media marketing, graphic design, and web development. i also have a shop where i make cute accessories that honors 1980s, 1990s, & y2k nostalgia (the aesthetic of my youth -- something i hold most dear). i also have won art/design awards and just love playing in my own type of digital collage complete with illustrations and tasty rose-lense photography. many years ago, i found myself as an artist as i fell down the world wide wabbit hole and loved every minute of it. i have an adoration for decadence and retro/kitschy 60s and 70s fashion, culture, and interior... as well as art, food, and travel. i am also driven by the aesthetics of the 80s, 90s, early 2000s. and raves.
i call the city of indianapolis my wonderland. i live downtown in a big, old, very pink-adorned house built in 1911 complete with a pet cat, dog, bird, gecko, spider, bug terrarium, snail, and flock of chickens. i love animals and have always been motivated by that love. i think in a past life i was a forest nymph that spoke to deer, exchanged trinkets with birds, and slept on a bed of flowers.
last, but most importantly, i'm a mama, a housewife to a contemporary realism painter, a home-zoo keeper, and an artist. i love to meet new people and i'm happy to meet you on a y2k personal website built in 2024~
